The Health Administration and Policy Program (HAPP) is designed for career-oriented students who recognize that health and health care in the United States are major public concerns and plan to seek employment in one of a variety of administrative, supportive, planning, research or policy positions. Graduates can work for hospitals, long-term care and home health facilities, managed care organizations, state and local governments, professional associations and national organizations, as well as research and policy firms. Students in the program can also elect to go to graduate school or professional programs in health care.

Health care is one of the fastest growing, most dynamic and necessary industries both nationally and internationally. The health care field offers energetic, creative, enterprising individuals a host of administrative and service options. Health Administration and Policy Program majors are in an excellent position to be competitive in the health care marketplace.
